Posted by Thomas Chapin on Thursday, January 15th, 2009

My co-worker, Kent Downer, was showing me some of his facebook photos and one of them jumped out at me. The second I saw it, I just knew I had to photoshop it for fun. Here’s the before and after result:

Hot Air Balloon Ride

This past Saturday, I went on a hot air balloon ride! We went over a mile high, and it was awesome!

Digital Camera

Posted by Thomas Chapin on Friday, June 10th, 2005

Ok so I finally broke down and bought a digital camera. I got a Sony Cybershot DSC-P73 (Approximately $250 retail). ‘Cept I bought it off of ebay for $142 (plus $15 shipping). The camera showed up on my doorstep literally two days after I placed the winning bid. The camera came new in it’s original box, complete with all accessories such as batteries and cables. I’m impressed!

Without further ado, I present a sample image that I just snapped:

That’s aaaaaaaalmost film quality. How hard would it be to hook up a wifi adapter to it and take shots indefinitely?

I’m thinking about getting a 1 gig memory card. That way I could take anywhere from 500 to 3000 photos before I have to move them to my computer.

I like the wifi concept but currently only high-end cameras offer that, as far as I can tell…
