Third day on the island
I woke up at noon today to the sun beating down on my face and realized something. I’m sunburnt badly. Looking around for my knapsack in hopes of finding some sunscreen, I found it torn to pieces and the contents scattered all over the island. Who could have caused this act of extreme vandalism? I honestly didn’t know that George disliked me so! Could it be that a third character is a participant to the same plight as George and I?
I think I will spend the rest of the day searching for this character and give it a piece of my mind.

Hey tominator, I bet it was a raptor… those things love sunblock (cause they live outside) and they love tearing up the backpacks of unsuspecting travelers.

Hmmmmm, what could it be? I hope you can find the thing that did it.
Mabye it was Sweetie (my dog) she loves to tear up things. she even made a hole in a paint bottle and got it all over herself. lol.
well I’m sure you’ll update us pretty soon.

Okay, I’m not a stalker, really I’m not =) I am bored however, and I found your journal from a comment you left on Char’s latest post. I’m fascinated by your plight and will be checking for updates - just glad you managed to find some internet access on your forsaken island =)
Your homepage is friggin’ awesome… I was just wondering, what is the song that plays on the pink page? It sounded kind of cool.

If my memory serves me correctly, it’s a song by the Smashing Pumpkins called “1979″. Lyrics: http://www.netphoria.org/afh.htm#1979s

Yes, I’ve been reading your story with interest….
And I think perhaps you’ve been marooned on this island for a very important reason…..
For peace and quiet…and a time to think about life and eternal issues.
Once upon a time a man by the name of Hemingway said something about life being totally meaningless, just like an ant running up and down a burning log, going nowhere at all.
Seems like there are lots and lots of people that are living life this way, with no real happiness, no real purpose. I see that it everywhere reflecte by their writings on LJ.
So…maybe you’ve been marooned at such a time as this in order to “take time out” to ask the questions, “Why am I here?” and “What is the purpose for which I was made?” and “What is my destiny?”
I hope your time on the island will be profitable!

This has nothing to do with your “island experience” exactly, but since you have lots of time to think on the island, maybe you can stir up some more memories????…….. I’ve been reading your user info., and I found it very interesting! Do you really remember lots of things that happened when you were real young? I’d LOVE to see a post about that!
Do you remember when your mama found you on top of the roof when you were 2 1/2? :)Your thing with remembering your debit card number was AMAZING!

Yeah I remember climbing up the tv antenna pole and dangling my legs off the roof while looking down at everyone. And I remember how much you freaked out but I didn’t get what the deal was. I just slid back down the pole.
